ANDERSON, Indiana — Teddy Dodge, 67, of Anderson, passed away October 18, 2015, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.

He was born May 12, 1948, in Anderson and resided most of his life in Anderson.

Teddy graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1966.

He was retired from Miller Huggins in 2008 after 24 years of service.

After retirement, he handicapped racing for The Herald Bulletin and The Indianapolis Star at Hoosier Park.

He served his country in the United States Air Force, serving in Vietnam.

He attended Central Wesleyan Church.

He was a member of the Tan Son Nhut Association.

Teddy is survived by his wife of 46 years, Pamela Dodge, of Anderson; children, Tamara Dodge, Ronald (Jerrica) Dodge and Dennis Dodge, all of Anderson; one brother, Willis (Esther) Dodge of Anderson; grandchildren, Dustin, Devan, Nick, Alex, Noah, Dylan, Aiden and Kyle Dodge; great-grandchildren, Dolton and Alexis Dodge.

He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Cordella Dodge; a brother, Tom; and a sister, Virginia.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m.

Thursday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Burial will take place in the East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.

Military rites will be by VFW Post 266.
