Tan Son Nhut Association Photographs of the Month

Walter Chisholm sent in two photographs  He was with the U.S. Army, living at Davis Station on Tan Son Nhut, Air Base, from May 1966 - May 1967.  He was there for the attack on the Air Base which took place on Dec 4, 1966.  One Sentry Dog Handler from the 377th Security Police Squadron, dies on this same night and three Sentry Dogs also die.

This photo shows a parachute flare still burning after
it hits the ground.  It is silhouetting the Sikorsky H-34
Choctaw helipopters and a Lockheed Constellation.
