Heads up for the Tan Son Nhut Association Reunion.

Please see the calendar on the left.

We expect to see many of our extended TSNA Family there.

To those who have never attended before, none of us are getting any younger.

We would be happy to see you and to shake your hand.

Share your story and perhaps your photographs.

Arrived February 1966

Just found a receipt for the Melton Building 45 Nguyen Khac Nhu, Saigon. According to Google earth it is still there. May be a college now. Worked in the APO near the flight line at TSN. Usually rode the Navy bus back and forth. For a while had a Honda 250 but it was too much of a hassle to insure or find a place to leave it near the base. This was from early 66 to early 67.

Viet Cong detonate explosives at Saigon floating restaurant.

Two Viet Cong terrorist bombs rip through a floating restaurant on the Saigon River. Thirty-one people, including nine Americans, were killed in the explosions. Dozens of other diners were wounded, including 11 Americans.

One bomb was detonated on the river side of the restaurant. The other bomb was near the exit and was detonated as patrons tried to flee, injuring many.
