Hootch 752 John Webb sent us this photograph.  It was taken shortly after TET 1968.  It is one of the buildings in the 700 area.

Specifically, it is building 752.  John lived directly across the street from this hootch and considers himself very fortunate to have survived.  He heard that 7 or 13 KIA's were in that hootch.

He and three other men, placed one of the wounded on a mattress, then each grabbed a corner of the mattress and ran the wounded down to the dispensary which is next to the morgue.  Unfortunately the man was dead by the time they got there.
Hootch 752 John Webb's second photograph showing the same building 752.
SAC Sign John Webb's third photograph showing the SAC sign that was attached to building 752, after it was blown across the street during TET 1968.
Flight Line building John Webb's fourth photograph showing one of the blown-up buildings on the flight-line, TET 1968.
Tan Son Nhut Club Card

Tan Son Nhut Club Card
I found my old TSN NCO Club card.

It has "Cleared" written on it from my processing out on my way back to "The World". It also has my flight number and date on it, written by my hand. The card is sort of faded and worn.

I left in Sep 1970, so that makes the card at least thirty-two years old.   No tellin' what'll turn up next.

Esso Map
This map recently sold for $ 152.50 on Sep 10, 2002.  Personally, I could not believe someone would pay that much.

Apparently some of the items that we brought home is worth alot of money.
