Graphic courtesy of: Carol Bessette Headquarters, 7th Air Force Tan Son Nhut Air Base, Saigon, Vietnam April 1968 - May 1969 I finally got to see the post-restoration statue in daylight on Sunday and there is such a difference. There is now a distinct difference between the color of the uniforms and the skin color of each of the men. I really like it and did not expect this change. Now people are wondering whether they will do the Women's Memorial the same way, I wouldn't mind. TSNA made a donation to the restoration funding so we are seeing the results of our donation. | |
